Abstract

Starting from a broader doctoral project concerning the «Information Service» of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the essay-interview traces the human, political and professional history of Giorgio Tupini: the first years of Christian Democrat youth militancy, the experience as undersecretary for Information and a long and important career as a public manager at Fincantieri, Finmeccanica and Alitalia. This unprecedented testimony that portrays the last witness of a democratic political class led by De Gasperi, who rebuilt Italy institutionally and morally.
