Abstract

In the last years the research about tropes has recovered the German later troparia's tradition. It is pointed out here the case of this particular genre found in Novara's territory and in San Giulio's isle at Orta. Around this signalling, several witnesses of Italian troparia and sequentiaria are shown, which have been recently recovered from an ancient Vercellian source of the 2nd half of the 9th century and from 18th century sources of the Florence cathedral
