Abstract

The aim of the article is the survey of neo-paganism in Italy and of its explicit and implicit political expressions. After having identified the theoretical framework in which the different forms of neo-paganism in Italy shaped and developed and having drawn a basic map of main groups and organizations, we will analyze their production of political contents. Can we detect specific political models shared by the different forms of contemporary paganism in Italy? Which theoretical and practical means are adopted by groups in order to shape individual and collective identities? How are activism and participation in the political life of nation expressed within the perimeter of Italian neo-paganism?
