Abstract
Italian law 106/2016 authorized the Government to enact a new legislation in the non profit sector and to reform the rules of the civil code relating associations and foundations. In 2017 two laws were approved, on social enterprises (112/2017) and on non profit organizations (117/2017), but none regarding the civil code. The new laws don’t always overlap with the old rules of the civil code and the interpreter must try to make them match, waiting for a new legislative reform.
