Abstract

The work examines the principal novelties that occurred during 2014 in the field of French administrative law. Among others, the issues examined include certain problematic aspects relating to (a) the effects of the decision issued by the European Court of Human Rights against the enforcement of an administrative penalty; (b) the ruling by the Conseil d'Etat against the introduction of "estoppel" in the administrative court proceedings; (c) profiles of lawfulness of the decision of the physician to stop health treatment of a sick person ("Lambert affaire"); (d) the Dieudonné affaire and the profiles of lawfulness of an administrative authority decision banning a theatrical show; (e) the conditions that allow public administration to resort to a public-private partnership contract.
