Abstract
Globalization rhymes with tourism. Analyzing the characteristics of Islamic or halal tourism, this article suggests analysis from the perspective of globalization. The rules of halal tourism, which is part of the wider system of ethical-religious tourism, can globalize Islamic concepts, particularly to the knowledge and applicability of Islamic finance. The study also focuses on the widespread effects of halal tourism under conditions brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, the paper makes recommendations which have implications for practitioners
