Abstract
The Ukrainian conflict, along with the bloodshed of the victims in recent months, has reopened a millennium-old political-religious issue to which both the Russians and the Ukrainians refer, but with an opposite interpretation, to support their respective theses and claims. Within this framework, let us quickly try to recall the most notable events of the past, reaching the drama of 2022.
