Abstract
The regional law in Lombardy essentially infringes the freedom of worship, because it introduces limits and prohibitions that prevent the exercise of religion through the identification of construction site for places of worship of religious structures. The law has been appealed by the Government in front of the Constitutional Court because it unreasonably discriminates several religious denominations, subjecting non-Catholic religions to compliance with unmotivated requirements.
