Abstract
Being Muslim without being Italian: what does it mean? What challenges and problems confront children of immigration who identify with Islam? This paper focuses on how young people, so often born and raised in Italy, experience their double belonging (Muslim and foreign) in an environment which struggles to understand that it must become multicultural and religiously plural.
