Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the innovations introduced by the new Constitution of Cuba in religious matters: in particular, some articles seem particularly sensitive to the profiles of religious freedom, an explicit reference to the secular nature of the State is provided and the marriage is defined as a social and legal institution.
