Abstract
Mediation in Canon Law is not a formalized procedure but an activity of bringing the Parties closer, also available in Public Law. As regards the Governance measures, can. 1733 C.I.C. calls for Mediation rather than administrative litigation. The areas concerned might be: ecclesiastical offices, teaching of the Catholic religion, paid pastoral activity, clergy remuneration.
