Abstract
The article aims to analyse the regulatory instruments and techniques adopted, both at European and national level, to protect and support the employee within the dynamics of Enterprise 4.0. Faced with profound changes that have taken place in production contexts as a consequence of the digital transition, the regulator’s focus has turned towards the issue of transparency and information rights in order to strenghten social accountability for a sustainable corporate governance. This trend leads the A. to consider the suitability of such regulations to govern the complex processes of transformation currently in progress and whether labour law can be appropriately interpreted in these terms
