Abstract
In this essay, the author revisits the early years of the implementation of the Workers’ Statute (Act No. 300/1970) and the labour trial reform (Act No. 533/1973); the author focuses on the innovations that those two Acts produced in case law because of the new interpretive trend held by younger judges and their way of handling labour lawsuits
