Abstract
More flexible forms of work contract have a new regulatory framework within the Italian labour market, reformed by Act n. 276 of 2003. The author argues that it is important to look at the contracts based on the reduction of working time - as part-time, temporary work, job-sharing - in order to verify the coherence between the new legislation and the European aims to promote an improvement in worker's living and working conditions.
