Abstract

The main thesis of the artiche is that there are urgent changes to be enforced as regards the rules of the industrial relations system, according to the changes in post-fordist economies. But there is a precondition: a social pact between labour and capital about the s.c. "flexicurity": between the demand of endurable flexibility coming from the management and the workers' claim of fair stability.
