Abstract
The essay analyzes the relationship between university and health and safety at work provisions, as defined in the delegated decree 81/2008 and in the amendment act currently under discussion. The analysis distinguishes between university as a "sui generis" "company" and university as an institution, the former requiring a specific discipline in accordance with its particular organisation and risks, the latter playing a significant role in the prevention system. The research perspective provides an opportunity to highlight the new wider concept of "health" adopted in the d.d. 81/08, in relation to the employer's duty of risks evaluation, and the functioning of new regulation techniques in the new legal framework of health and safety at work.
