Abstract
The essay concerns the evolution of collective bargaining after the agreement of 22nd January 2009: in particular, it analyzes the conflicts within the mechanical engineering sector; the Fiat alternative model; the divisions among the most important trade unions in the public sector; the recent national collective agreement in trade sector, that the branch union affiliated to Cgil refused to stipulate. According to the opinions here expressed, as conflicts among trade unions are becoming stronger, collective bargaining process seems to become weaker and more fragmented.
