Abstract

The authors introduce the re-publication of the essay Dalla scala mobile a Pomigliano: i sindacati servono ancora?, that Massimo Roccella had finished writing for the review Micromega few days before his passing. They trace the main points of the essay, enhancing his observations with extracts of interventions developed by Massimo Roccella on the daily press and on-line reviews in the summer of 2010, close to the signature of Pomigliano agreement, to the outcome of the following referendum and to the consequent reactions of Fiat.
