Abstract
This essay explores the influences and implications of public law upon the employment regulation in the public administrations, according to the decree n. 29 of 1993 and following legislation, in particular regarding job assignment. The author argues that the idea of s.c. privatization of public employees labour relations still remains incomplete. The recent legal innovations concerning the decentralization and revision of organizational structures in the public sector enphasize that conclusion. They refer to the supremacy of public function rather then legal protection of employees job assignment.
