Abstract

The essay describes the new regulations, introduced in 2014 and 2015, concerning some different issues of labour law: the fixed term contract, the temporary employment contract, the apprenticeship and the dismissals in indefinite term contract. As a consequence of this new regulation, the employer's power can be exercised without limits, and therefore labour law could be ineffective in many enterprises. At the same time, after the entrance in force of article 8, Act n. 148/2011, that allows plant (or local) collective agreements to derogate also from legislative norms, the labour rules can be re-built in different ways at different employers. All these measures collaborate to a serious risks of a virtual disappearance of labour law.
