Abstract
The Italian criminal law does not provide for any rational discipline on the fraud against social security institutions. The case law has tried to fill this gap with critical results. Therefore, a reform is necessary in order to introduce new regulatory offences and sanctions, so to strengthen the procedure of income grant.
