Abstract
The author remembers here the charming intellectual adventure of Federico Mancini, Professor of Labour Law - which he contributed with his friend Gino Giugni to refound after the disaster of fascist corporatism -, General Advocate and then Judge at the European Court of Justice, through the whole second half of the twentieth century, in Italy and Europe.
