Abstract
This essay starts from an analysis of the recent political-institutional experience concerning the updating of the criteria for the distribution of the standard national health requirements (formerly the «fondo sanitario nazionale») in order to question the role that Campania Region has assumed as an exponential political entity, and the role that it could assume as a subject holding legislative powers, for the implementation of substantive equality in health matters.
