Abstract
The paper examines the impact of the European principle of maximum deployment of renewables on territories and, more specifically, focuses on the role played in this regard by the regions in the complex dialogue with the state and local authorities. The promotion of simplification as a synonym for acceleration, with a view to implementing the requirements of European legislation, shows several criticalities that are investigated in the analysis.
