Abstract
The article analyzes the judgment no. 203 of 2023 by which the Constitutional Court deals again with the form of government of the Regions and pronounces the constitutional illegitimacy of the legislation approved by the Regional Council of Puglia aimed at circumventing the constitutional provisions and extending the time in which the regional bodies remain in office under the prorogatio regime following early dissolution. The analysis also focuses on the proceduralization of the early elections phase following the functional dissolution of the regional bodies.
