Abstract
The essay analyses the integration policies of immigrant people, developed by the Regions and the Autonomy Provinces of Trento and Bolzano. The paper considers the whole legal framework: it starts from an overview of the State-Regions relationship in regulating the issue of how to protect immigrant people, with specific regard to the Constitutional Court's case-law, it presents a picture of the regional sources of law dealing with the issues of integration and maps some new instruments of administrative nature, able to protect vulnerable people, to coordinate different institutional levels and to reduce conflicts: a first step to bridge divisions that deeply affect our society.
