Abstract
The article aims to outline the results of the analysis of Radio NoLo, an editorial project born within the Social Street of a district of Milan: NoLo. The research, through interviews with founders/djs of the Radio, the analysis of programming and a questionnaire addressed to the listeners, investigates the role of Radio NoLo in the construction of a new local identity and in the transformation of the neighborhood. Through the use of the concept of «hyperlocal media» (Radcliffe 2012), the difficulty of Radio NoLo emerges in addressing the complexities of a multidimensional area within a neighborhood with contradictory transformations.
