Abstract
The Self-esteem Scale, the Self-efficacy Scale, and the Positivity Scale were administered to 38 students with learning disabilities (LD) and 38 students without LD (age: 8-18 yrs.). Data about their school situation were collected as well. Students with LD showed lower self-esteem but differences between the two groups emerged only in older students. Self-efficacy and positivity decreased across school levels in LD students and were not affected by age in the control group. School performance and school commitment in LD students were related to self-efficacy.
