Abstract
The contribution highlights the problem of the distance between scientific research and applications. Researchers are responsible for disseminating the correct development of scientific constructs used in clinical practice. The problem is analyzed in the context of expert legal advice in the family, in which improper use of such constructs can have serious consequences on children’s growth
