Abstract

In this article some issues concerning the application of the attachment theory in the court contest are discussed: the importance of clarification of the «good enough care» concept; how to diminish the stress the children go through when they have to change their caregiver; the effect of temporary foster family plans upon the children’s expectations about the caregiver availability. Lastly, it is underlined that there is a significant need to verify the benefits of bi-parenting for children in the conflictual separation cases.
