Abstract
This contribute analyses the interaction between some aspects of familiar functioning (disclosure, maternal and paternal support, supervision) and risk behaviours and malaise feelings during adolescence, considering gender differences. The sample consisted of 1298 Italian adolescents. To collect the longitudinal data a questionnaire was used. The results show that in male, poor supervision and little disclosure between parents and children influence following adolescents' involvement in risk behaviours and their malaise feelings; in female, low paternal support influences their following involvement in risk-behaviours while low maternal support influences their malaise feelings; on the other hand the involvement in risk behaviour and experimenting malaise feelings influences familiar climate.
