Abstract
This paper is devoted to an analysis of the presence of Francesco Petrarca in the codex Rome, Biblioteca Angelica, 2274, a collector of laudas, Latin hymns ternary chapters and other devotional works. In this context, we meet the poet’s name in connection with three texts: Dulcis amica Dei lacrimis inflectere nostris, a nonauthored chapter entitled Per non mostrare ched io sia stanco o lasso, and Vergine madre, che di sol vestita. This last text is copied in pairs with Antonio di Guido’s Lauda Donna in cui venne el sole, a particular cantasi come ballad structured on the verses of the last fragmentum of Canzoniere
