Abstract

The contribution examines the "Abusivo" case of Antonio Franchini, considered one of the most emblematic episode of non-fiction Italian novel. Firstly the analysis focuses on a general overview of the trends of the contemporary literary landscape, with specific regard to the complexity from identifying a recognizable taxonomy where ascribe the hybrid literary productions located between real and unreal. The analysis will arrive to consider the specific features of the narrative devices performed in "L'abusivo", in the debate about his gender identification.
