Abstract

The author illustrates the different events that took place on the fifth centenary of the death of Aldus Manutius (bibliographical exhibitions, conferences, conventions, new editions of collections of Manutius catalogues) that contributed to enliven the celebration, making the commemoration an opportunity for a broad international comparison. The note documents the scholarly multifaceted interest towards the innovations of Manutius work as well as his legacy for the history of printing.
