Abstract
This essay is lecture of Rvf. After a stylistic analysis based on its position in Canzoniere, the attention of the auctor turns on the poem’s main theme and on the classical sources of the text (Catullo, Horace and Ovid). An important part of the essay concerns the Laura description. Infact she has a both nature: she is human and also a divine creature (like Sofonisba in Africa) and symbolizes also the poetic Fame, which the poet is looking for.
