Abstract
The article proposes a re-examination of the sources and classical models of the episode of the Dragontina garden in the Inamoramento de Orlando, with particular attention to the ecphrastic depiction of the story of Circella and Ulysses that decorates the loggia of the fairy’s enchanted palace, highlighting neglected elements and intertextual contacts and particular stylistic aspects of Boiardo’s poetry
