Abstract

The contribution intends to present the entry into the new phase of the Synodal Path of the Italian Church, which took place within the General Assembly of the Italian Episcopal Conference which was held in May 2023, which configures a different season of synodal reflection, characterized in wisdom. Analyze more closely the structure on which the wisdom phase is based which was inaugurated in the spring of last year and which had among its qualifying moments the meetings of the national committee held in Assisi (18-19 November 2023) and in Rome (24 -25 February 2024), the text describes the areas in which the work of the synodal path is articulated, through a division of competences that never fails to refer to a common objective, and which are the same themes with which we are measuring the Italian church, confirming a common feeling which is an indication of a profound catholicity.
