Abstract
The essay aims to analyze the tale ouput for children produced by migrants writers in Italy. Since the begining of the Nineties many writers of migration living in Italy start to produce a significative number of novels both for adult and young. This production is caracterized by unique voice and narrative stories: collections of fairy tales and legends, autobiographical stories, fiction novels. The essay traces the evolution of this literature, seeks to motivate the little attention paid by the specialist studies, focuses also on issues related to translingualism and potential for innovation and linguistic hybridization of the migrants scriptures for children. From this critical path descended some thought on the epistemological status of literature of migration, the search for a possible distinctive feature that unites these writings, the relationship between literature and national identity.
