Abstract
In the analysis of the multilingual texts a linguistic approach, more than a philological one, may be important, because it considers, beyond the written text, the complexity and changeability of the surrounding linguistic world. Starting from the analysis of the two texts by Dino Coltro, published at a distance of sixteen years one from the other (1973, 1989), we will show how the literary multilingualism may be a cultural, social and linguistic index, which, in the Venetian area, has involved contiguous and heteronymous varieties in a significant way. Following the network of the varieties the reader will understand in what ways syntax, morphology and vocabulary are intermingled.
