Abstract
In Loredano's short story, object of critic investigation, Loredano pursues poetics of wonder. Baroque style privilages false appearances and illusionistic effect and leads the reader to perceive theater scene that hosts the tragic events. Loredano exploits boldly hybridization; occurs so an abrupt transition from comic to tragic that proceed in the name of catalogue. It has explored the whole range of possibility.
