Abstract

The choice of Roman monuments, such as the Conti's Tower, requiring a permanent maintenance activity, demonstrates its utility on an educational point of view as well. The deep current crisis sees a too high number of young Architecture graduates still looking for a job, and the Professional Master's degree in Architectonical Restoration at the RomaTre University could represent a good model of behavior as it encourages a culture based on manual activity and revaluation of traditional jobs. These jobs have built the beauty of Italian territory and now they are losing dignity and creative value. Their rebirth, a new "Renaissance", can happen with proper internships that may open the students to the horizon of manual jobs in a context that has recently established itself in Painting, with smart creations of "Arte Anacronista". Professional classes of technical high specialization, already active in Europe, can be useful references, as well as the didactic activity performed by young Greek students, at the service of the Acropolis of Athens' legacy.
