Abstract
The essay wonders about the implementation of the School-Work Alternance (SWA) in Italy in the four years following the enactment of Law 107/2015, before the guidelines related to the reformulation of SWA provided by Law 145 in 2018. The discussed data were collected by a sample survey conducted through an interview with a questionnaire (CAWI), addressed to school representatives of SWA in Italy. The basic hypothesis is that the type of relationship between schools and the organisations involved in the SWA projects may shape up to be not only according to the mere opposition between the resistance to change and the acceptance of the idea that secondary education should be geared more towards meeting the needs of the labour market.
