Abstract

After giving account of the important developments that the introduction of Civil Unions accounted for Italian family law, the essay provides an analysis of the new Legal status. In this perspective, the Civil Union is examined from a formal point of view, as an act, and in a substantial perspective, as a relationship, without neglecting even the aspects of property regime and succession law.
