Abstract
Interreligious dialogue in the Church is rooted in the texts of the conciliar period during a growing awareness of inevitable cultural rapprochement. Its standard was to be the promotion of peace, as demonstrated by the 1986 Assisi meeting. But after the blind violence of political-religious matrices in the years following, this standard will have to be starkly re-imagine, becoming more realist and concrete. Dialogue is the «grammar» of human conviviality today, inviting us to think and live another logic of relationships between believers of different traditions.
