Abstract
Globalization and related phenomena (immigration, environmental problems, technocracy) have profoundly changed contemporary, post-modern, ever-changing society. These changes have influenced canon law and, in particular, the magisterium of Pope Francis. This essay analyzes the most important pontifical acts regarding globalization and then identifies the physiognomy of the new canon law, illustrating why it could be defined as «glocal».
