Abstract
The relationship between criminal law and labour law is complex and different, but it's possibile to identify two characteristic elements: hipertrophy and ineffectiveness. The criminal labour law has been ineffective for a long time, because it is based on violations, punished with very low fine. Nowdays there is a pervasive need of a stronger punishment for some labour law categories. The legislator has approved a new law against the labour exploitation, the art. 603-bis of the Italian criminal code. The author analizes the new crime by underlying lights and shadows.
