Abstract

The essay analyses to what extent and in what ways the Valle d’Aosta Region has intended to remove economic and social obstacles in the field of social assistance. In particular, the choices made in the context of a territory that is characterized by its nature as a region with a special statute and by being predominantly mountainous are highlighted.
