Abstract

The paper aims at analysing the current legislative and administrative developments which are characterising the context of the Province of Trento. It tackles two main issues: on the one hand, foreigners’ integration and more precisely guarantees and barriers – ex lege and de facto – for the their effective enjoyment of local welfare; on the otehr hand, asylum seekers’ reception tools, in the light of quality and quantity of services provided. the general aim is to understand if a shif of paradigm – toward the implementation of sovereigtist and populist polities to Trentino special autonomy – is actually occurring.
