Abstract
This activity consists of a national and international review of the latest works regarding the relationship between adolescents and new technologies, with a special reference to the internet and new models of communication for teenagers and, finally, the risks resulting from a not properly supported vulnerable growing up-process. The latest research results on the ways young use the web, the reasons behind the surfing activity and the possible dangers were updated, moving from generational changes with respect to the old evolution strategies. Communication changes, new expressions of old discomforts, vulnerability to online information, exposure to supporting sites for already existing psychopathological patterns (pro-pathology sites), self-expressiveness of MySpace, are some of the issues the review deals with, with the aim to organize the researches' contributions on the relationship between adolescents and the internet. The review investigates and analyses the «adolescents' online life», which has become part of their everyday life.
