Abstract

The article focuses on the support interventions to parenthood in the observance of the best interest of the child. It is the right of every child living in a family at risk benefit of efficient social services with qualified workers and the new results of "infant research" can give useful informations to Developmental Clinical Psychologists and Social Workers. The following article deals with a research project on the Juvenile Court in Rome, which worked in collaboration with the social services of the city. In particular, the article focuses on the improvements made in intervention-procedures after the integration of social services with health services, which permitted and effective collaboration between social workers and psychologists. The future perspective is the specialization of assessment procedures to project specialistic interventions for different types of family at risk.
